Note from the Artist: This piece was inspired by the striking silhouettes and tonal shifts I experienced while exploring Lower Antelope Canyon. The composition echoes the layered steps and stacked formations carved by time, wind, and water. I worked with rich desert hues—clay, terracotta, and black—to reflect the contrast between illuminated sandstone and the deep shadows found within the canyon walls. Every knot holds the memory of that moment—still, grounded, and intentionally made.
